About Geneva City Schools

Geneva City Schools serves the educational needs of the residents of the city of Geneva, a community with a population of approximately 4,500. The city of Geneva, located in southeast Alabama, is the county seat of Geneva County. Our school system is 35 miles west of Dothan and 60 miles north of Panama City, Florida.

 

Student enrollment in grades K 12 is approximately 1.300, and three schools serve our students' needs: James A. Mulkey Elementary School (K-5), Geneva Middle School (6-8), and Geneva High School (9-12). Our students are evenly distributed among boys and girls, and is made up of a very diverse and united racial and ethnic heritage.

 

Geneva City Schools is an AdvancED Education Service Agency accredited school system. Our system is a member in good standing of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (Class 4A) and fields teams in the sports of boys' football, girls' volleyball, boys' and girls' basketball, boys' baseball, and girls' softball, bass fishing teams, and boys' and girls' track & field events.
